SOCIAL MEDIA/INTERACTIVE

Or worse, you have to know how to respond to the angry consumer who might be trashing your brand on social media sites and message boards.

Scott-McRae Advertising has been on the leading edge of this emerging shift in the way people discover and relate to the brands they use. We start with your online brand by developing websites that convey your story. Integrated with the website development is your social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and blogs. It’s all about telling a tale that resonates with your customer and we can handle it all.

Scott-McRae Advertising was tasked with the job of communicating a new City of Jacksonville program designed to renovate foreclosed housing in the urban core and sell it to qualified affordable housing homebuyers.

Target
Like all projects, money was a factor. But so was reaching the target of this program – young women, predominately single mom’s, with household income under $40,000 a year. This was especially the case since the agency knew from previous projects in the affordable housing real estate sector that it takes many leads to generate a couple of qualified buyers.

Tactics
The solution was to drive traffic so broadcast with a smattering of other types of media to support the broadcast efforts was the primarily focus of the effort. The campaign began with both television and radio talking about the plan and using actors that represented the market we targeted – single moms with children. It was supported with a website that lists homes available for purchase, outdoor in the targeted zip codes, media relations, and limited print advertising in one of the urban core weekly newspapers.

Results
As the campaign broke, the agency’s analysis of the numbers showed television and radio bringing in the lion’s share of leads. Over a period of six months, the campaign generated over 3,000 phone calls. The client was extremely happy with the response and the positive reaction to the creative.
